Yesterday in church we had a special speaker come. His name is Ghuna Kamar(sp) In part of His sermon he talked about forgiving ourselves. He said so many times we ask for God's forgiveness and he gives it to us but then we never forgive ourselves. He said we always think of our past. We always think of the things we have done wrong but God doesn't, once we have asked God to forgive us for our sins he does and forgets about them. The words "If only" are words that are killing our spirit. Forgive yourself, the people around you and then forget. God is asking are you ready ? Forgiving myself is one thing i really struggle with, i pray God would help me each day make less mistakes and help me when i do make mistakes to forgive myself as he has forgiven me.
"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
"Come now, let us reason together,"
